I don’t know about you, but the plethora of New Age ‘Law of Attraction’ self-improvement, of the perpetually productive world-view never worked for me.

In fact, it made me positively unwell. Like so many others, I blamed this on myself - that there was something inherently wrong with me…

(Truth: there is absolutely nothing wrong with me or you.)

Until I discovered that these methods completely denied and dismissed our cyclical natures and our rich, luminously dark, unseen depths - leaving us feeling lopsided and wrong. This external supremacy of homogenized perfection is one way that our souls are silenced and degraded. It’s the colonization by this false belief in our inherent wrongness that continues to separate us from the truth of the indigenous wisdom of our souls.

And what we do to ourselves, we do to our planet.

Aggressive agro-industries use the aptly named “slash & burn” technique, where trees and vegetation on land to be used for mass monoculture cash-crop production are torn down and then burned. The short-term benefit of this is that the soil is made arable for the crops to be successfully planted. This slashing and burning can continue for a few cycles, until the soil is completely depleted of nutrients and microorganisms, with significant loss of biodiversity. The land, after being used + exploited in this way, is then abandoned, and needs about a decade to regenerate itself. Every year, an estimated 1.4 million hectares of land in the Amazon are destroyed in this way.

Tending the land through the Indigenous science of permaculture is a powerful way to revivify it, working in partnership and reciprocity with it, and all its vivacious, messy, wild aspects. In this way, both the human and her environment thrive and co-exist in interdependence.

We live in an age where, in order to fit into the supremacy of a degrading monoculture, we are slashed and burned into addiction, burnout, depression and their manifold minions.

My work is a regenerative permaculture of the soul - to guide you towards creating your own authentic, rich inner world, in alignment with your particular soul-signature. Alchemy, Myth and an engaged relationship with the wholeness of your Wild Nature are the tools I work with to help you nourish the luminous depths of your soul’s soil.

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”

C G Jung

And making the unconscious conscious is a foundational aspect in this work of inner-decolonization - the tending of our soul’s soil to unearth our authentic treasure, and bring it back as a gift to the world. To live on purpose in a way that is aligned with your deepest Self has truly awesome ripple effects out into your life and the world.

C G Jung also wrote prolifically on the nature of archetypes, and their power to organize personal and societal structures. Collectively and personally, the vast majority of us have been existing under the tyranny of the colonizer.

We have, all of us, been conditioned into forgetting, into becoming oppressor & oppressed, within & without. This work of inner-decolonization is done for ourselves, each other and the living Earth whom we belong to. As we re-member our soul’s mythic, indigenous wisdom, we open ourselves up to living, loving and creating in authentically abundant, reciprocal interdependence.
